About the opportunity

We're looking for a highly-driven and motivated "Assistant Manager, Account Management" for our team in Pakistan. If you are seeking a role where you can gain hands-on experience and make a direct impact, this could be the right opportunity for you

The ideal candidate will have a proven track record as a significant individual contributor – comfortable working independently while collaborating closely with the management team.

  • Responsible for driving incremental orders, ensuring retention, exclusivity, and stronger relationships with GMV Class A & B vendors, with a focus on optimizing business performance, growth, and enhancing their experience.

  • Assist in improving the customer experience by training restaurant staff, collaborating with operations and owners to improve menu displays, sharing reports, and working with the marketing team to create promotions and events to optimize performance.

  • Identify and implement new value-added initiatives and proactively find solutions, such as establishing two exclusive partnerships with key accounts, either offline or on foodpanda, with targeted monthly growth as a primary KPI.

  • Ensure DL photography of top key accounts.

  • Handle deal acquisition for monthly and event-based campaigns.

  • Monitor logistics performance on a daily/weekly basis.

  • Reduce issue rates or fail rates.

  • Work with internal cross-functional stakeholders to define requirements, deliver strategies, develop tactical implementation plans, and manage project risks, issues, blockers, and actions.

  • Support cross-functional teams by facilitating communication, resolving urgent issues, securing appropriate support, and deploying processes and tools.

  • Maintain visibility and communication across teams and report progress to management.

  • Perform additional tasks or projects as they arise.

What you need to be successful
  • 1.5 years of direct account management experience
  • Strong negotiation and communication skills
  • Proficiency in presentations and business review skills
  • Knowledge of food industry and operational costings
