We partner with our clients through a host of cutting-edge analytics and forward-thinking research to empower them in developing and implementing bold business decisions.

Role Description:

We are looking for an (sr.) Associate Insights and Strategy for a project focused on solar PV market growth in Pakistan. The role requires a good understanding of Pakistan's renewable energy market and excellent analytical and communication skills. You will report directly to the CEO and manage Herald's partnerships within and outside Pakistan. You are expected to grow as a thought leader in the renewable energy sector while honing the art of strategic organizational growth. Finally, you should have passion for data and AI/ML as the broader team involves data scientists with whom you'll work closely.

Creating impact:

● Develop and implement data-driven solar industry insights;

● Identify energy market trends and their relevance to the solar industry;

● Position Herald as a reliable and innovative partner for public and private sector and civil society organizations;

● Ensure on-time delivery of Herald's deliverables through proactive discussions within and outside the organization;

● Draft project reports, industry presentations, policy briefs etc. (samples might be requested during the recruitment process)

● Represent Herald at various industry events and conferences and actively engage with the industry leaders.

Qualifications:

●Master's degree in economics, engineering, public policy, energy policy, business studies etc.

●To be considered for the Senior Associate role, you must have 2-3 years of relevant work experience.

●Good understanding of Pakistan's solar PV market, energy policy and electricity value chain, gained either through work experience, internship, academic research etc.

●Excellent English language, presentation and communication skills.

●Advance user of Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint.

●A good sense of humour
