MEDS NEXUS, a USA-based company, is seeking a Sr. A/R Specialist – Vision Care for its Rawalpindi office.

Responsibilities include:

  1. Insurance verifications and authorizations
  2. Collecting, posting, and managing account payments
  3. Submitting claims and following up with insurance companies
Essential Functions
  1. Prepare and submit vision claims daily via electronic or paper methods
  2. Process payments from insurance companies promptly
  3. Resolve insurance and patient billing complaints
  4. Follow up on aging claims or delinquent accounts
  5. Participate in educational activities and attend monthly billing meetings
  6. Maintain confidentiality and adhere to HIPAA/PHI regulations
Skills and Experience
  • Knowledge of vision care billing and collection practices
  • Understanding of vision care payers' guidelines and submission processes
  • Experience with Medicaid & MCD MCOs' claims processing
  • Knowledge of authorizations and denial management
  • Proficiency in relevant computer programs and office procedures
  • Basic knowledge of vision coding and third-party operations
  • Ability to operate a computer, office equipment, and a multi-line phone system
  • Strong communication and organizational skills
  • Ability to follow instructions and work effectively with team members
Experience

Candidates should have at least 2 to 3 years of experience in Medical Billing & A/R Management, preferably in a Vision Care Practice.
