Job Description Summary

Maintenance Specialist Mechanical (Team Leader Mechanical) is responsible for managing all aspects of Mechanical maintenance of complete Combined Cycle Power plant consistent with protecting the Owner's investment and achieving Site KPIs (Reliability/Availability/Quality) in a safe, reliable, economical and environmentally friendly manner.

What You'll Do

• Perform routine preventive, predictive and corrective maintenance on field equipment that is in-house or at remote locations.
• Maintain a database on each piece of equipment via Maximo, to record and track maintenance and repair history.
• Analyze and recommend spare part inventory levels for assigned plant equipment, initiate replacement orders, organize stock for orderly storage and monitor usage.
• Interface with other members of the Technical Support Team to support overall organizational goals and objectives.
• Proficient in reading P&ID's and detailed technical drawings/manuals.
• Ability to troubleshoot equipment faults and knowledge of RCA techniques.
• Ability to plan, schedule and execute outage works with due regard to annual scheduled maintenance plan.
• Experience in developing and managing annual maintenance budget.
• Work closely with Maintenance Manager in assigned area, providing weekly metrics on performance, schedules on critical repairs, as well as daily updates on critical equipment.
• Recommend plant modifications, and perform minor redesigns for the elimination of future breakdowns.
• Work closely with Engineering in the review, design and installation of machines, prepare Preventive and Predictive Maintenance schedule, and determine the necessary spare parts levels.
• Direct skilled trades in the latest repair techniques and maintenance methods.
• Develop opportunities for reducing operating expenses.
• To acquire full knowledge of EHS/Quality policies & procedures and ensure compliance.
• Any other job assigned to him by management.

What You'll Bring

• B.Sc. Engineering Mechanical or Mechatronics from any HEC recognized University or equivalent within or outside Pakistan.
• Strong experience in Mechanical Maintenance with at least 5 years relevant experience in CCPP (IPP), having capacity more than 150MW. Knowledge of GE 6FA gas turbine and HRSG systems would be an added advantage.
• Strong oral and written communication skills in English.
