Responsibility
Drive automation and digitalization initiatives to improve supply chain visibility. Monitor and coordinate data flow between systems to support planning, reporting, and analytics across the supply chain. Manage and optimize IT systems related to logistics and warehouse operations, ensuring efficiency and seamless data flow between inventory systems and other coordinated platforms (e.g., ERP, WMS).
Support in configuring alerts for inventory thresholds, reorder points, and obsolescence risks. Collaborate with the logistics and warehouse teams to ensure seamless integration between IT systems and operational processes. Ensure the accurate capture and analysis of data from logistics and warehouse operations, bringing to bear analytics tools to optimize inventory and supply chain processes.
Manage IT infrastructure related to warehouse automation, RFID, barcode scanning, and other logistics technologies. Support continuous improvement initiatives by recommending new technologies, upgrades, or process changes to improve operational performance. Work with external vendors and software providers to ensure system reliability, compliance, and efficient performance.
Develop and maintain documentation for logistics and warehouse IT systems, processes, and troubleshooting procedures. Support audit processes by maintaining accurate documentation, traceability, and compliance reporting. Develop prototypes, pilot projects, and proof-of-concepts for new technology and analytics solutions. Support users to adopt new digital systems, analytics tools, and data-driven processes. Build and maintain clear documentation for applications, projects, budgets, and compliance activities.
Essential Skills
- Strong understanding of Operations, Logistics, Warehousing and Inventory management processes
- Ability to understand demand and supply networks using different IT platforms
- Proficiency in data analysis, developing dashboards (e.g., utilizing Power BI, Tableau, or equivalent tools), and reporting on critical metrics
- Understanding cybersecurity standard methodologies and compliance requirements in industrial environments
- Excellent project management skills
- Ability to translate complex technical concepts into business-friendly language
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills
- Excellent critical thinking, problem-solving, and innovative attitude
- Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment
- Minimum 5 years of experience managing and implementing Operations applications, preferably in FMCG
- Proven track record of leading innovation and digital transformation projects in a manufacturing environment
- Hands-on experience with emerging manufacturing technologies (e.g., IoT, Industry 4.0, Smart Factory, MES systems)
- Strong background in Logistics process improvement and Warehousing systems optimization
- Experience in developing and managing technology budgets for projects and operations
- Practical exposure to data management, analytics platforms, and reporting tools
- Previous experience in working closely with cross-functional teams (Warehouse and Logistics)
- Exposure to audit processes, compliance frameworks, and regulatory standards (such as ISO, ITGC, or industry-specific regulations)
- Experience in collaborator management, vendor coordination, and external partnership management
- SAP S4 Implementation, deployment experience is preferred
