Job Responsibilities
  1. Conduct chemical analysis of body fluids including blood, urine, and CSF.
  2. Check the accuracy of results.
  3. Calibrate and operate all instruments in the Bio-chemistry Lab.
  4. Run quality controls daily, review Lj plot, run EQA, and interpret results.
  5. Inform all abnormal results to the respective doctor/consultant.
  6. Properly store samples of abnormal results.
  7. Follow infection control and ISO instructions.
  8. Instruct and train juniors and trainees.
  9. Issue reports.
  10. Rejection of tests or samples if required, based on SOP criteria.
  11. Repetition of tests if necessary.
  12. Manage daily inventory consumption.
Additional Responsibilities
  1. Maintain stock of kits and consumables.
  2. Maintain laboratory data records.
  3. Perform monthly maintenance of analyzers as per procedures.
  4. Keep weekly maintenance logs.
  5. Coordinate with suppliers' biomedical department for analyzer issues.
  6. Prepare weekly and monthly indents.
