- Job Title: Snow Leopard Knowledge Management Officer
1. Identify, collate, review and manage all snow leopard related research, studies, baselines, data, information, undertaken, collected, and conducted by WWF-Pakistan;
2. Ensure the development of a centralized database for all snow leopard research;
3. Use existing snow leopard research to develop fact sheets, posters, and communication materials to share and disseminate to relevant stakeholders;
4. Develop a communication and social media strategy to ensure maximum visibility of WWFPakistan's snow leopard project outcomes and work, this also includes conducting physical installations or the display of materials to garner interest and potential fundraising from the public;
5. Assist in devising and launching snow leopard fundraising campaigns in coordination with the WWF's fundraising team;
6. Review and finalize all reports, studies, research materials developed by the snow leopard team;
7. Review all snow leopard research done in Pakistan, along with conducting a mapping of all organizations, educational institutes, Community based organization, etc, who are working on snow leopard conservation;
8. Establish a partnership with the Snow Leopard Network ) and develop a strategy on how to use their platform to further create visibility of WWF-Pakistan's snow leopard work;
9. Plan, organize, and conduct webinars to launch all new and upcoming snow leopard research done under the new snow leopard project;
10. Any other work or task that may be requested or delegated by the Head of Communications and/or the Project Manager
Education and Experience:
a. Bachelor's Degree in either Communications, Visual Communication, Marketing, or any other field which proves relevant to the ToRs;
b. At least 3 to 5 years of experience;
c. Good research, editorial review, and comprehension skills are a must;
d. Experience in graphic design preferred.
Skills and Attributes:
a. Excellent writing and communication skills in English
b. Proficiency in Adobe illustration and design-related software
c. Excellent research and analysis skills, along with initiative for keeping up to date on environment and development issues, priorities, and trends
d. Ability to work both independently and in coordination with teams to effectively meet deadlines
e. A personal commitment to nature conservation and sustainable development.
f. Sensitivity to issues regarding gender bias, religious and ethnic minorities, and other marginalized groups in Pakistan
