Principal Accountabilities:
  • Performance to Budget
  • Relationship development throughout the customer's organization
  • Level of account penetration
  • Deployment of Future's Value Added Services at the customer
Job Content (Primary & Secondary Functions):
  • Meet or exceed program and sales objectives set by sales management
  • Establish and maintain relationships at all levels within the account (purchasing, materials, finance, senior management)
  • Strategize with management and establish detailed customer account plans, including action plans with Inside Sales to achieve sales targets
  • Review and pursue daily sales opportunities to ensure closure
  • Set priorities and action plans with Inside Sales to recover and book lost business on the next quote
  • Review market information and collaborate with contacts to identify and develop new and emerging accounts
  • Develop a thorough understanding of customer business: products, services, and organization
  • Present RFQs with customers to communicate our quote strengths and position for the final quote award
  • Consistently follow up on all bidding RFQs
  • Engage in all Transfer Business inbound or outbound
  • Negotiate and close deals with customers
  • Fulfill commitments and maintain strong relationships with customers, suppliers, and colleagues
  • Communicate regularly with Inside Sales to update Customer Profile and activity information
  • Collaborate with the All OEM future sales teams to maximize design efforts, driving greater penetration in OEM and EMS customers
