About the job MIDDLE MANAGEMENT POSITION - PRODUCT DEVELOPMENT

COMPANY OVERVIEW

Our Client, a Karachi based company, seeks to appoint experienced professionals for the following project-based position for a 1 Year Contract:

Key Responsibilities

Product Strategy & Roadmap:

  • Develop and define the product vision, strategy, and roadmap in alignment with company goals and customer needs
  • Conduct market research and customer analysis to identify product opportunities and potential improvements
  • Prioritize product features and enhancements based on customer feedback, market demands, and business objectives

Product Development Lifecycle:

  • Lead the product development lifecycle from ideation and concept to design, development, and launch
  • Collaborate with engineering, UX/UI, and other cross-functional teams to ensure timely product delivery
  • Ensure all product requirements are clearly defined, documented, and communicated to the development teams
  • Oversee product testing, quality assurance, and troubleshooting during the development phase

Collaboration & Cross-Functional Leadership:

  • Collaborate closely with marketing, sales, and customer support teams to align product features with customer requirements and go-to-market strategies
  • Act as the bridge between internal teams, ensuring alignment on product objectives, timelines, and delivery
  • Lead regular meetings with stakeholders to ensure transparency and smooth coordination across teams

Product Performance & Iteration:

  • Monitor and evaluate product performance and customer feedback after launch to ensure continuous improvement
  • Use data and analytics to inform product iterations, enhancements, and new features
  • Regularly communicate product performance and roadmap updates to senior leadership and stakeholders

Market Analysis & Competitive Intelligence:

  • Conduct competitive analysis to identify trends, industry standards, and opportunities for differentiation
  • Stay up-to-date with market trends and technological advancements to ensure the product remains competitive

Education

  • Minimum 16 years of education, preferably Masters from a renowned and HEC recognized university or institution/equivalent foreign degree holder institution, preferably in Engineering, Business and Marketing or a related field.

Experience

  • Minimum 6-8 years of professional experience, preferably in a large national/multinational organization with at least 2-6 years of related functional experience in a similar role at an equivalent position.

Requirements

Technical Knowledge:

  • Strong understanding of the product development process, including Agile methodologies
  • Familiarity with technical aspects of product development, including UX/UI, software engineering, and system integration

Skills:

  • Strong project management, organizational, and leadership skills
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical abilities
  • Proficiency in product management tools (e.g., JIRA, Trello, Asana) and MS Office Suite
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills

Personal Traits:

  • Detail-oriented and process-driven
  • Strategic thinker with a customer-centric mindset
  • Ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment
  • Self-motivated and able to work independently while managing cross-functional teams

Age

  • The candidate should preferably be not more than 40 years of age as of the last date of submission of application.
