About Us

Rigel AI is seeking a Senior Next.js Developer to build an admin panel for multiple user types, focusing on scalability, performance, and real-time interactions. This role requires hands-on experience with modern Next.js development, Material-UI (MUI), Redux, WebSockets, Server-Sent Events (SSE), Docker, and third-party API integrations. The ideal candidate has a passion for frontend architecture, creating mobile and web experiences, and working in a collaborative team environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop a scalable and maintainable admin panel using Next.js , optimizing performance for multiple user types.
  • Implement real-time data handling using WebSockets and Server-Sent Events (SSE) to enable dynamic interactions.
  • Design and maintain a consistent theme across the application.
  • Optimize the application for both mobile and web views, ensuring an efficient user experience across devices.
  • Integrate third-party APIs, read API documentation, and efficiently interact with backend services.
  • Manage application state efficiently using Redux for predictable and testable outcomes.
  • Dockerize the application for streamlined deployment, ensuring scalability and reliability.
  • Collaborate with backend developers and designers to deliver a user-centric application.
  • Ensure UI/UX best practices are implemented, including accessibility, responsiveness, and high performance.
  • Write clean, modular, and maintainable code, following industry best practices and coding standards.
  • Stay updated with emerging frontend technologies and best practices to continuously improve the application.

Required Skills & Qualifications

  • 2-3 years of professional experience in Next.js development.
  • Hands-on experience with Material-UI (MUI) for UI component customising and theming.
  • Proficiency in WebSockets and Server-Sent Events (SSE) to build real-time features.
  • Strong experience with Redux and Redux Toolkit for state management.
  • Ability to read and implement third-party API documentation, handle authentication, and manage API requests efficiently.
  • Experience with Docker, including creating and managing containers for deployment.
  • Familiarity with RESTful APIs and GraphQL.
  • Experience with Git and version control workflows.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and ability to debug efficiently.
  • Good communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively in a remote or hybrid team.

Preferred Skills

  • Experience with Next.js for server-side rendering and SEO optimization.
  • Experience with GraphQL for efficient data fetching.
  • Knowledge of authentication methods like JWT, OAuth2, and Firebase Authentication.
  • Exposure to CI/CD pipelines and DevOps workflows.
  • Experience working in an Agile/Scrum development environment.
