We are looking for a proactive and experienced Upwork bidder to join our team. Your primary responsibility will be to find relevant job postings on Upwork and submit well-crafted, winning proposals to help us secure new projects. You will play a key role in expanding our client base and ensuring that our bidding strategy aligns with our business goals.
Responsibilities:
• Actively search for and identify relevant projects on Upwork that align with our company's services i.e software development
• Craft compelling, customized proposals that highlight our expertise and value proposition.
• Manage communication with potential clients, ensuring timely responses and follow-ups.
• Maintain a detailed pipeline of all submitted proposals, track their progress, and report outcomes.
• Collaborate with the team to understand project requirements and gather relevant details to include in proposals.
• Meet weekly and monthly targets for the number of bids submitted and the value of projects won.
Requirements:
• Proven experience as an Upwork bidder or similar role in business development.
• Strong writing and communication skills in English.
• Familiarity with Upwork platform and its bidding process.
• Ability to understand technical project requirements (experience with software development projects is a plus).
• Excellent organizational and time management skills.
• Self-motivated and target-driven with a results-oriented mindset.
Preferred Qualifications:
• Experience in the tech industry, especially in software development or IT services.
• Ability to handle client negotiations and discussions related to project scope and pricing.
• Strong understanding of Upwork's terms and best practices.
• Flexible working hours.
