We are seeking a Bilingual Virtual Medical Assistant (VMA) with a strong clinical background and fluency in both English and Mandarin/Chineseto join our dynamic global team. This remote role offers the opportunity to support healthcare professionals while contributing to improved patient outcomes. As a Bilingual Virtual Medical Assistant (VMA), you will play a vital role in streamlining clinical and administrative processes, ensuring efficient healthcare delivery. Your key responsibilities will include:

Key Responsibilities

Administrative Support:

• Manage provider schedules and coordinate patient appointments.
• Maintain and update Electronic Health Records (EHR) with accuracy and efficiency.
• Handle medical documentation, prior authorizations, and compliance-related tasks.

Clinical Assistance:

• Prepare patient charts and facilitate lab/diagnostic test orders.
• Communicate laboratory and imaging results to patients with clarity and empathy.
• Assist patients with medication management and treatment plans.
• Enroll patients in support programs, including medication assistance, transportation, disability services, and housing support.
• Serve as a liaison between patients, physicians, pharmacies, and other healthcare providers.
• Offer compassionate and clear guidance to patients regarding their care plans.
• Deliver an exceptional patient experience with a professional and engaging approach.

Qualifications & Requirements

Qualifications:

• Education: Degree in Nursing, Healthcare Administration, or a related field. Experience: 1-2 years in a clinical and/or administrative healthcare role.
• Language Skills: Proficiency in both English and Mandarin/Chinese (written and verbal).
• Technical Proficiency: Strong understanding of EHR systems and medical terminology.

Requirements:

• Availability: Must be available to work U.S. time zones.
• Skills: Exceptional communication, organization, and multitasking abilities.
• Tech-Savvy: Comfortable using computers, fax machines, printers, and software tools.
• Software Proficiency: Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite and Google Workspace.
• Work Environment: Reliable high-speed internet and a private, distraction-free workspace for remote operations.
