Job Responsibilities:

The Tax Team Member will be responsible for preparing and filing US Tax Forms, including Federal and SALT, reviewing Balance Sheet Account Reconciliations, and managing month-end postings.

The role also involves ensuring the financial integrity of account balances in SAP versus tax documentation. The candidate will collaborate with the Local Finance Team, Business Controllers, Tax Analysts, Accounts Payable & Receivable teams, and other support networks for account reconciliations. Additionally, the team member will prepare dashboards and monthly reports, demonstrating agility and willingness to undertake various tasks with appropriate training.

Impact on Business & Teamwork:
  • Collaborate with team and customers to meet delivery timelines.
  • Mandatory knowledge of NA Direct Tax Compliance, specifically Form 1120 and 1065.
  • Prepare and submit Property Tax forms for US states within deadlines.
  • Perform balance sheet account reconciliations (Indirect Tax, Direct Tax, Withholding) in compliance with SOX and DuPont policies.
  • Ensure journal postings are approved and recorded following SOX and JEV policies.
  • Use OneSource for US Direct and International Tax forms.
  • Manage US Tax exemption Certificates and record them accurately in OneSource Determination.
  • Support quarterly activities and manage estimates and extension filings in US tax.
  • Utilize SAP and macros to generate reports monthly.
Customers / Stakeholders:
  • Support onshore counterparts with GL and tax compliance.
  • Participate actively in business meetings and resolve issues promptly.
  • Respond timely to senior management queries.
  • Provide accurate and relevant data for management and financial reporting.
Operational Effectiveness & Control:
  • Implement proactive controls to identify issues early.
  • Adhere to DuPont's internal control policies, including SOX compliance.
  • Develop detailed knowledge of accounting flows to support reconciliations.
  • Maintain updated process documentation for all activities.
