Job Summary
The Sales Business Development - Truck Dispatching will play a crucial role in driving our dispatch operations forward. You'll be responsible for initiating contact with brokers and potential carriers, negotiating competitive rates, fetching load details, and supporting business growth through client outreach and relationship management.
Key Responsibilities:
- Make outbound cold calls to potential carriers and brokers in the U.S. trucking market
- Make calls to brokerage firms and negotiate freight rates to ensure maximum profitability
- Fetch load (freight) details and update internal systems accurately
- Identify and pursue potential clients needing dispatch services
- Communicate clearly and effectively with drivers, brokers, and clients to resolve issues or concerns
- Build and maintain a strong sales pipeline through follow-ups and lead nurturing
- Meet or exceed daily and weekly call quotas and conversion goals
- Perform other related duties as requested by the supervisor
Requirements:
- Minimum 1 year of experience in cold calling, dispatch sales, or business development (preferably in the trucking or logistics industry)
- Excellent spoken English and strong communication skills
- Confident negotiation and persuasion abilities
- Strong understanding of U.S. logistics, freight brokerage, and dispatch operations
- Ability to multitask and stay organized in a high-pressure environment
- Comfortable working night shifts aligned with U.S. time zones
Timing: 5PM - 2AM - Monday - Friday
Shift: Onsite
