Job Summary:

The Business Development Officer at Nazeer Hospital is responsible for driving growth by identifying new business opportunities, onboarding medical consultants and corporate panels, and promoting the hospital's laboratory and diagnostic services across the industry. This role involves strategic outreach, relationship management, and active coordination with internal and external stakeholders to expand the hospital's network, visibility, and service reach.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Consultant Onboarding & Relationship Management

  • Identify and approach potential consultants across various specialties for affiliation with Nazeer Hospital.
  • Conduct presentations and negotiations to onboard new consultants in alignment with hospital standards and goals.
  • Maintain strong professional relationships with current consultants to ensure continued engagement and satisfaction.

2. Panel Onboarding (Corporate & Insurance)

  • Identify and pursue new corporate, insurance, and third-party administrator (TPA) panels.
  • Initiate and facilitate the onboarding process including proposal preparation, documentation, and agreement finalization.
  • Liaise with HR, insurance, and administrative departments of organizations to promote hospital services.

3. Laboratory Services Promotion

  • Market Nazeer Hospital's laboratory and diagnostic services to clinics, doctors, corporate clients, and health organizations.
  • Develop and execute strategies to increase external referrals and testing volume.
  • Represent the hospital in lab-related meetings, conferences, and industry events.

4. Strategic Business Development

  • Explore and evaluate new business development opportunities in healthcare services, partnerships, affiliations, and programs.
  • Conduct market research to understand industry trends, competitor activities, and potential growth areas.
  • Develop business proposals, presentations, and strategic plans to present to hospital management.

5. Marketing & Outreach

  • Collaborate with the marketing team for campaigns, events, and promotional material development.
  • Represent the hospital in community health programs, expos, and medical events to enhance brand visibility.
  • Help develop marketing content tailored to consultants, panels, and laboratory service users.

6. Reporting & Coordination

  • Maintain detailed records of leads, meetings, follow-ups, contracts, and outcomes.
  • Submit regular business development reports to the management, highlighting progress, challenges, and market insights.
  • Coordinate internally with hospital departments (finance, HR, clinical, admin) for smooth onboarding and service delivery processes.

Qualifications & Skills:

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Healthcare Management, or related field.
  • 2+ years of experience in healthcare business development, preferably in hospital or diagnostic settings.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong organizational and reporting capabilities.
  • Ability to work independently, meet deadlines, and manage multiple priorities.
