About Us

Great Computer Solutions (GCS) is a Chicago-based organization providing IT solutions, ranging from consultancy and support to network formation. Established in 1996, we support small and medium organizations in the US and Pakistan. We are seeking an ambitious Technical Support Specialist for our Pakistan office.

Role Overview

As a Technical Support Specialist, you will deliver comprehensive IT services to our technology partners. This role offers growth opportunities and requires a willingness to learn, tackle new challenges, and solve problems innovatively. Responsibilities include technology implementation, maintenance, and support, along with strong communication, analytical, troubleshooting, and teamwork skills.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Customer Service: Represent the company's values, resolve client issues, and manage expectations empathetically.
  2. Technical Support: Support Apple and Windows platforms, hardware/software installation, troubleshooting, documentation, project planning, and execution.
  3. Research & Development: Continuously improve infrastructure management, research solutions, and implement customer-centric designs.

Minimum Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in computer science or related field
  • 5-7 years of hands-on technical experience
  • Experience creating documentation and SOPs
  • Industry certifications in desktop, server, network, Azure cloud support
  • Strong communication skills; ability to work on US Central Time (on-site)
