We are seeking an experienced and highly skilled Senior Technical Manager / Director with a strong background in software development and deep expertise in data science and machine learning. This individual will play a pivotal role in leading cross-functional teams, architecting robust software solutions, and driving innovation through AI/ML initiatives.   • Technical Leadership: Oversee the design, development, and deployment of software applications and machine learning solutions
  • Set the technical direction for projects, ensuring alignment with business goals and adherence to architectural best practices
  • Drive best practices in coding, testing, DevOps, and software quality assurance
  • Collaborate with data scientists and engineers to build and deploy predictive models, recommendation systems, and other intelligent applications
  • Evaluate and implement appropriate tools, frameworks, and ML algorithms to solve business problems
  • Lead, mentor, and manage a team of software engineers and data scientists
  • Conduct performance reviews, support career development, and foster a high-performance team culture
  • Manage resource planning, hiring, and team scaling as needed
  • Drive end-to-end project delivery, from requirements gathering through deployment and maintenance
  • Work with cross-functional teams to ensure timely and successful execution of product and technical roadmaps
  • Communicate technical concepts and progress clearly to non-technical stakeholders
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Data Science, or a related field
  • 10+ years of experience in software development with a proven track record of delivering enterprise-grade applications
  • Strong hands-on expertise in at least one major programming language (e.g., Python, Java, C#, or equivalent)
  • Demonstrable experience in machine learning, data analysis, statistical modeling, and working with large-scale datasets
  • Proficiency with ML libraries and frameworks (e.g., TensorFlow, Scikit-learn, PyTorch, etc.)
  • Experience with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, GCP, Azure) and containerization technologies (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes)
  • At least 3+ years in a technical leadership or managerial role, overseeing teams and mentoring engineers
  • Experience with MLOps practices and tools
  • Knowledge of data engineering pipelines and ETL processes
  • Familiarity with agile methodologies and project management tools (e.g., Jira, Confluence)
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
