AI Technical Project Manager

Lead AI-driven projects from concept to launch, aligning strategies with business goals, and driving solutions through cross-functional collaboration.

We are seeking an experienced AI Technical Project Manager to serve as a technical leader for our AI project implementations. In this role, you will bridge the gap between technical implementation teams and business stakeholders, providing technical expertise and leadership throughout the project lifecycle. You will be responsible for guiding the technical direction of AI projects, ensuring the technical feasibility of proposed solutions, managing technical resources, and delivering high-quality AI solutions that meet the complex business needs of our blue-chip clients.

• Provide technical leadership and guidance throughout the AI project lifecycle, from conception to deployment
• Serve as the primary technical point of contact for cross-functional teams, including data scientists, engineers, product owners, and stakeholders
• Develop technical project plans, including resource allocation, technical dependencies, and risk assessments
• Evaluate technical feasibility of proposed AI solutions and provide recommendations on architecture, technology stack, and implementation approaches
• Work closely with ML/NLP engineers and data engineers to ensure proper technical implementation of AI models and systems
• Identify potential technical challenges and proactively develop mitigation strategies
• Establish technical standards, best practices, and methodologies for AI projects
• Lead technical discussions, architecture reviews, and code reviews to ensure quality and maintainability
• Monitor project progress from a technical perspective, addressing bottlenecks and technical debt
• Bridge communication between technical teams and business stakeholders, translating technical concepts and limitations effectively
• Stay current with emerging AI technologies and industry trends, evaluating their potential application to client projects
• Mentor junior technical team members and foster a culture of technical excellence
• Collaborate with the product team to balance technical constraints with business requirements
• Ensure AI solutions meet performance, scalability, and security requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Data Science, or a related technical field; Master's degree is a plus
• Minimum of 4 years of experience in software development or engineering roles, with at least 2 years of experience leading AI/ML projects in a technical capacity
• Strong technical background with hands-on experience in software development, particularly in AI-related technologies
• Deep understanding of AI/ML technologies, including large language models (LLMs), natural language processing (NLP), computer vision, and their practical business applications
• Experience with Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG), vector databases, and embedding models for AI applications
• Proficiency in at least one programming language relevant to AI implementation (Python preferred)
• Familiarity with AI frameworks and libraries (TensorFlow, PyTorch, Hugging Face, etc.)
• Working knowledge of cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes)
• Experience with agile methodologies and tools (Jira, Confluence, etc.)
• Strong understanding of data requirements for AI projects and experience collaborating with data engineering teams
• Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to translate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders
• Proven track record of successful technical leadership in delivering complex technology projects
• Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills
