Impact Of The Role

The MI Commercial Data team plays a crucial role in servicing both internal and external customers, with our Master, Reference, and Transactional data being essential for the Finance, Sales, Marketing, and Analytics divisions. This Project Manager role will be pivotal in driving key strategic initiatives, tracking progress, and ensuring alignment across stakeholders throughout the commercial value chain. A strong understanding of Operational KPIs and Salesforce is essential.

Key Responsibilities

• Define project scope, goals, and deliverables in collaboration with stakeholders.
• Identify project KPIs, secure stakeholder sign-offs, and establish success metrics.
• Develop comprehensive project plans detailing timelines, milestones, and resource allocation.
• Coordinate internal resources and tools to ensure seamless project execution.
• Monitor project progress, addressing and resolving issues proactively.
• Manage project resources and collaborate with internal stakeholders to ensure timely progress.
• Conduct risk management to mitigate project risks effectively.
• Communicate regularly with team members and stakeholders to maintain alignment and transparency.
• Prepare and present regular project status reports to senior management and stakeholders.
• Promote a culture of collaboration and continuous improvement within the project team.
  
  

What We Are Looking For

We seek a highly motivated and experienced Project Manager to join our Commercial Data team at S&P Global. The ideal candidate will lead projects from inception to completion, ensuring timely delivery within scope and resource constraints. This role requires close collaboration with cross-functional teams, stakeholders, and clients to achieve project objectives and drive business success.

Basic Qualifications / Skill Set

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Project Management, or a related field.
• 3-4 years of experience working within the commercial teams and with commercial tools like Salesforce.
• 1-2 years of proven experience as a Project Manager or in a similar role, preferably in a commercial setting.
• Strong understanding of project management methodologies (e.g., Agile, Waterfall).
• Exceptional communication, leadership, and interpersonal skills.
• Knowledge of reporting capabilities will be preferred.
• Proficiency in project management software (e.g., MS Project, Asana, Trello).
• PMP, PRINCE2, or similar certification is a plus.
• Ability to thrive under pressure and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
