
Strategic Commercial Manager

About the Role:
- This is a strategic position that oversees multiple departments, ensuring effective coordination across different areas.
The ideal candidate will possess strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and excellent communication abilities.
Key Responsibilities:
- Commercial Leadership: Manage commercial, PMO, procurement, and logistics departments.
- Bid Management: Work on RFQ and bid submissions, developing financial models for pricing and adapting them to actual circumstances.
- Presentation Skills: Present commercial-related issues in meetings through informative presentations.
- Offer Planning: Plan and ensure timely submission of commercial offers and receipt of purchase orders and variation orders.
- Customer Support: Oversee customer pot activities effectively.
- Compliance Monitoring: Monitor activities to ensure compliance with contractual clauses.
- Procurement Planning: Plan and implement procurement of materials and sub-contracts.
- Contract Administration: Issue sub-contractor agreements and pots.
- Liaison Role: Serve as a liaison between management and sub-contractors/suppliers.
- Project Control: As Project Controller, verify that project activities are within budget.
- Risk Mitigation: Mitigate risks that may result in negative margin cost variations.
- Database Maintenance: Maintain databases according to Statement of Work (SOW).
- Reporting: Advise and draft reports for high-level management.
- Logistics Coordination: Coordinate logistics activities for smooth delivery.
- Supply Chain Optimization: Monitor logistics to ensure timely delivery of materials at desired quality and lowest cost.
- Cash Flow Management: Prepare quarterly cash flow statements for projects.
- Project Reporting: Submit monthly project unit returns for all projects.
- Additional Responsibilities: Perform any other tasks assigned by management.
