Job Summary:

Commercial Manager

We are seeking a highly skilled Commercial Manager to lead our commercial operations.

The successful candidate will be responsible for managing various departments, including commercial, PMO, procurement, and logistics.

  1. Preparation of RFQs and bid submissions: Develop and submit comprehensive RFQs and bids that meet customer requirements.
  2. Financial Modeling: Create financial models for pricing on RFQs and adapt to actual circumstances as needed.
  3. Presentation and Communication: Prepare and deliver presentations in meetings to discuss commercial-related issues.
  4. Commercial Offer Management: Ensure timely submission of commercial offers and receipt of purchase orders and variation orders against submitted offers.
  5. Customer Portfolio Management: Oversee customer portfolio activities to ensure effective management.
  6. Contract Compliance: Monitor activities to ensure compliance with contract clauses.
  7. Procurement Planning: Plan and implement the procurement of materials and sub-contractors.
  8. Sub-Contract Agreements: Coordinate the issuance of sub-contract agreements and purchase orders.
  9. Stakeholder Management: Act as a liaison between management and sub-contractors/suppliers.
  10. Project Control: Verify that project activities are carried out within budget.
  11. Risk Mitigation: Identify and mitigate risks that may result in negative margin cost variations.
  12. Data Management: Ensure proper maintenance of databases according to Statement of Work (SOW).
  13. Reporting and Advisory: Provide reports and advice to high-level management.
  14. Logistics Planning: Plan logistics activities to ensure smooth delivery.
  15. Delivery and Quality: Ensure timely delivery of materials in desired quality at minimum cost.
  16. Financial Reporting: Prepare project quarterly cash flow statements.
  17. Project Unit Returns: Submit project unit returns on a monthly basis.
  18. Additional Responsibilities: Perform any additional tasks assigned by management.
