Key Responsibilities:

  • Communicate with banks to obtain bank statements, account status, authorized signatories update and resolve any account-related queries or issues.
  • Monitor and manage daily fund requirements, ensuring sufficient cash is available to meet daily commitments and obligations. Prepare and validate fund transfers, including cheques and RTGS (Real-Time Gross Settlement), through the Oracle Financial Review and verify the execution of cheques, fund transfers, and RTGS transactions through the bank statements to ensure accuracy. Manage and promptly resolve any queries arising from bank reconciliations, ensuring that all discrepancies are addressed in a timely manner. Coordinate with bankers on a daily basis for routine operational matters, ensuring smooth transactions and accurate administration of bank accounts. Prepare settlement letters for government securities and money market transactions, ensuring compliance with financial protocols and accuracy in documentation.
  • Assist with additional operational tasks as assigned by the line manager, contributing to overall team efficiency and task completion.

Requirements:

  • Minimum bachelor's degree in a relevant field (e.g., Accounting & Finance).
  • 2-3 years' experience, preferably in financial sector
  • Proven experience in a similar role, preferably in the life insurance industry.
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
