Responsibilities

Carry out repairs and maintenance of electrical installations, systems, and equipment under the supervision of the electrical supervisor to ensure safety and efficiency, minimizing breakdowns.

Specific responsibilities include:

  • Repairing and maintaining equipment such as LT & HT switchgear under supervisor guidance
  • Assisting the supervisor with operational maintenance during shift duties
  • Monitoring voltage and current of electrical systems for reliability
  • Filling maintenance work request slips with details of work and materials used
  • Following safety protocols
  • Performing shift duties as required
Requirements
  • Secondary school education preferred
  • 6–8 years of related work experience
  • Electric Wireman's License preferred
  • Knowledge of electrical equipment such as LT & HT transformers, switchgears, controls, power distribution, and lighting systems
  • Basic understanding of fire alarm and call systems
  • Extensive knowledge of plant preventive maintenance systems
  • Ability to read and write simple Urdu and English
