Personal Assistant to the Senior Regional Director, Asia

Job Overview
CABI International is seeking an experienced Personal Assistant/Executive Assistant to support the Senior Regional Director Asia and senior management. Responsibilities include managing daily administrative tasks, coordinating schedules, travel arrangements, meetings, preparing reports and presentations, and supporting various projects.
The ideal candidate will possess strong organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work discreetly and professionally with senior leaders. Proficiency in English (IELTS Band 6-7) and a background in project management are essential.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage electronic diary and daily mail to ensure smooth office operations
- Coordinate travel arrangements for the SRD staff
- Handle phone calls and messages for SRD
- Compile and prepare reports, presentations, and correspondence
- Organize meetings, take minutes, and follow up on action items
- Collect reports ensuring accuracy and deadlines
- Act as Configuration Librarian for projects and personnel database
- Liaise with CABI Commercial and Publishing, facilitate printing and procurement of stationery and publications
Perform any other tasks assigned by the Senior Regional Director.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Management Sciences, or related field
- 1-2 years of experience as a Personal or Executive Assistant
- Strong diplomacy, initiative, planning, organizational, and time management skills
- Ability to adapt quickly to new environments
- Flexibility, reliability, tact, and discretion
- Meticulous attention to detail
- Proven analytical and drafting skills
- Background in Project Management
- English proficiency at IELTS Band 6-7 is a plus
