Job Description:

As anAssistant Project Manager, you will play a key role in coordinatingproject managementandquality assuranceactivities to ensure the successful delivery of software projects. You will work closely with developers, designers, and stakeholders to maintain project timelines, monitor progress, and uphold software quality standards.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Project Management:

  • Assist inplanning, organizing, and executingsoftware projects from inception to delivery.
  • Coordinateproject activities, ensuring deadlines and deliverables are met.
  • Monitorproject progressand communicate updates to stakeholders.
  • Identifyrisks and issues, and propose mitigation strategies.
  • Conductproject evaluationsand recommendprocess improvementsfor efficiency.

2. Quality Assurance (QA):

  • Develop and executedetailedtest plans, test cases, and test scriptsfor web and mobile applications.
  • Performfunctional, regression, integration, and performance testing.
  • Identify, log, and tracksoftware defectsusing bug-tracking tools (e.g., Jira, Trello).
  • Collaborate withdevelopment teamsto ensure comprehensivetest coverage.
  • Design and implement automated tests(Selenium, Cypress, Appium, etc.) to enhance testing efficiency.
  • Maintain cleartest documentationand provide regularQA progress reports.
  • Ensure compliance withsoftware quality standardsand best practices.
  • Work closely withcross-functional teams(developers, designers, business analysts) to align on project goals.
  • Facilitatestand-ups, sprint planning, and retrospective meetingsin Agile/Scrum environments.
  • Assist inclient communicationregarding project updates and QA findings.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

Education:Bachelor's degree (Computer Science, IT, or related field preferred).

Experience:2-3 years inproject management & QAin asoftware house.

Project Management:Familiarity withAgile/Scrum, Waterfall, or hybrid methodologies.

Quality Assurance:Hands-on experience inmanual & automated testing.

Technical Skills:

  • Bug Tracking:Logging, prioritizing, and verifying fixes.

Soft Skills:

  • Strongcommunication & problem-solvingskills.
  • Attention to detailwith aquality-first mindset.
  • Ability to work undertight deadlines
