We are seeking a dynamic Manager Sales and Business Development for a leading retail industry client in Pakistan.
Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role based in Lahore District for a Manager Sales and Business Development. The Manager will be responsible for business planning, managing sales operations, and developing new business opportunities. Daily tasks include market analysis to identify opportunities, active sales team management, outlets supervision and management, strategic planning to meet sales targets, providing exceptional customer service, and communicating effectively with clients and stakeholders.
Job Overview
The Manager Sales and Business Development will be responsible for formulating and executing sales strategies, identifying new business opportunities, and expanding our customer base. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in sales, business development, and client relationship management, with a passion for health and wellness.
Key Responsibilities
- Sales Strategy & Business Growth: Develop and implement sales strategies to achieve revenue targets. Identify new market opportunities and partnerships to expand business operations. Lead the sales team in executing campaigns to enhance brand visibility and increase sales.
- Client & Partner Engagement: Provide strategic insights to improve customer engagement and retention.
- Team Leadership & Performance Management: Supervise and mentor the sales team, ensuring high performance and motivation. Set sales targets, monitor progress, and provide regular performance feedback. Conduct training sessions to enhance the team's sales and negotiation skills.
- Market Research & Competitive Analysis: Conduct market research to identify customer needs, trends, and competitor strategies. Develop reports and actionable insights to refine sales approaches. Analyze sales data to optimize pricing, promotions, and customer acquisition strategies.
Qualifications & Requirements
- Experience: Experience in sales, business development, or a related field (preferably in FMCG, or retail).
- Education: Bachelor's or Master's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field (preferably from reputable institutions such as LUMS, LSE, or IBA and others).
- Sales & Negotiation Skills: Proven ability to close deals, manage key accounts, and drive revenue growth.
- Leadership Abilities: Strong team management, coaching, and motivational skills.
- Strategic Thinking: Ability to develop and execute business growth strategies.
- Tech-Savvy: Familiarity with CRM tools, sales analytics, and digital marketing trends.
- Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication in English and Urdu.
