Job Description: Email Marketing Specialist

We are seeking a results-driven Email Marketing Specialist with extensive experience using Klaviyo to develop and optimize high-converting email campaigns and automated flows. The ideal candidate should be proficient in event-based automation such as cart abandonment, checkout abandonment, and post-purchase sequences to support lifecycle marketing and revenue growth.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Strategize, build, and execute email campaigns using Klaviyo, including promotional blasts, newsletters, and triggered emails.
  2. Design and manage event-driven flows such as:
  • Welcome series
  • Post-purchase flows
  • Re-engagement and win-back campaigns
Leverage Klaviyo's data capabilities to segment audiences and personalize content based on user behavior and purchase history.Collaborate with design and copy teams to develop compelling email content that drives engagement and conversions.Conduct A/B testing on subject lines, content, timing, and design elements to improve performance.Monitor performance metrics (open rates, click-through rates, conversion rates, revenue per recipient, etc.) and make data-driven adjustments.Ensure email compliance and maintain list health through regular cleansing and segmentation.Stay updated on Klaviyo platform updates, email marketing trends, and best practices.

Requirements:

  • 2+ years of experience managing email campaigns and flows in Klaviyo, specifically for eCommerce brands.
  • Proven success managing event-based flows (cart/checkout abandonment, etc.) that drive measurable business outcomes.
  • Strong understanding of email segmentation, personalization, and lifecycle marketing.
  • Analytical mindset with experience interpreting data to inform strategy.
  • Working knowledge of eCommerce platforms such as Shopify, BigCommerce, or WooCommerce.
  • Familiarity with basic HTML/CSS for email formatting (preferred but not required).
  • Excellent communication and project management skills.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

Bonus Skills:

  • Experience with SMS campaigns in Klaviyo.
  • Design skills using tools like Figma, Canva, or Adobe Creative Suite.
  • Background in copywriting or content creation.
  • Familiarity with deliverability optimization and compliance standards.
