We are looking for a Sales Manager to enhance and coordinate the steady stream of events and group blocks coming through our doors. There are multiple areas to sell, including 61 newly renovated guest rooms and an amazing F&B team to bring events to life. Inbound leads are generated, and we are seeking someone to convert these leads and ramp up outbound efforts to our feeder markets. Hotel Lucine is a highly differentiated locale, attracting corporations seeking a soulful experience, great cocktails, and genuine hospitality.

This role offers flexibility with 75% remote work, and 25% on-site presence to coordinate BEO meetings, occasional tours, and stay connected with the team.

Responsibilities
  1. Draft, modify, coordinate with onsite team, and implement BEOs for every event
  2. Work with guests and the onsite team to accurately and timely close out charges for each event
  3. Develop and implement sales strategies to maintain high occupancy and profitability through coordination with department managers
  4. Boost revenue and increase new guest visits through strategic outbound sales efforts, including phone solicitation to local professionals, corporations, and your personal network
  5. Create a strategy to meet hotel financial goals, develop marketing deliverables, and prepare an annual sales forecast by analyzing market data
  6. Organize meetings with department heads, report on sales activity, and produce monthly expense reports for all sales-related expenses
Qualifications
  • Ability to negotiate and revise contracts
  • Minimum of 5+ years of relevant sales experience, preferably in hospitality
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Word and Excel
  • Prior hospitality experience is preferred but not required
  • Strong leadership, analytical, and communication skills
  • Proven success in lead generation and closing sales
