- Selecting, developing business opportunities and increasing revenue from different segments of the market.
- Developing and nurturing relationships with key clients and fostering new ones.
- Identifying and pursuing sales opportunities, making presentations, developing business relationships, and obtaining contracts.
- Managing contacts database, relationship building process and appointment setting, with considerable time expected to be spent out of the office.
- Projecting and maintaining the company's professional image.
- Coordinating closely with other departments to ensure that products and services are delivered within scheduled deadlines.
- Actively and successfully managing the sales process (lead generations; credentials pitch/client proposals; responding to client queries; solution pitch; negotiation; completion of contracts) aiming to optimize the value of each opportunity.
- Keeping abreast of product knowledge, customer profiles, and competitors' activities.
- Producing monthly reports on new business development activity and revenue against targets.

Job Specification

- MBA with concentration in Marketing.
- 3-4 years of Business Development Experience preferably with a financial institution.
- Well-developed business contacts and rapport.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving ability.
- Self-motivated, positive & confident.
- Pleasant personality with a customer-oriented approach.
- Result-oriented and target-driven with real determination for success.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal & negotiation skills.
- Effective team player and able to adapt to new environments.
- Desire to help the company achieve its goals.
- Experience in using MS Office applications, Windows, and Internet.
- Willing to work in the field.
- Flexibility to move outside the job description as and when required.
