Project Details

As a DBT Developer (Hightouch), You will build and maintain scalable data transformation pipelines using DBT, while leveraging Hightouch for reverse ETL workflows to sync data from warehouses to operational tools. This role involves close collaboration with stakeholders, data analysts, and engineers to deliver accurate, timely, and high-performing data solutions.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain DBT transformation pipelines and scalable data models
  • Implement and manage Hightouch syncs to deliver data from warehouses into tools (e.g., NetSuite, Tableau)
  • Monitor sync performance, resolve schema/API/data freshness issues
  • Optimize SQL queries and DBT models for performance and maintainability
  • Monitor and troubleshoot data pipeline issues, ensuring timely fixes
  • Design and manage ELT/ETL workflows for large-scale data transfers
  • Implement and monitor alerting for replication latency and performance
  • Create and maintain technical documentation (data flow diagrams, data dictionaries, process documentation)

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience in data engineering, analytics, or related field
  • Proven experience with DBT (Cloud or Core)
  • Hands-on experience with Hightouch
  • Strong SQL proficiency, including advanced multi-layer queries
  • Familiarity with cloud data warehouses (Snowflake, BigQuery, Redshift)
  • Experience with data modeling (star schema, normalization, etc.)
  • Hands-on experience developing pipelines in cloud environments
  • Working knowledge of Python a plus (Java, JavaScript, or C# also a plus)
  • Advanced English

This is a 4 months contract with possible extension through 2026. This role is open to LATAM candidates working with an 8-hour overlap with PST.
