About the role:

As an Assistant Manager Network Maintenance, you will be responsible for overseeing the Network Power Infrastructure and ensuring its continuous availability and reliability. You will play a key role in how the network is maintained and collaborate with planning and strategy teams. A strong understanding of power systems, as well as inventory management of both passive and active components, is essential for this role. Responsible for creating, maintaining, and analyzing operational reports to ensure accurate monitoring of key performance indicators (KPIs) and Service Level Agreements (SLAs).

Your Impactful Goals will include:

• Knowledge & hands on experience of RMS system for DG, CP, DC and fuel monitoring.
• Develop and maintain daily, weekly, and monthly reports related to network performance, service delivery and fault management.
• Capable of supervising Power infrastructure activities related to operations.
• Assists the identification and planning to implement new ideas to minimize Power consumption.
• Generate dashboards and visual reports using tools like Excel, Power BI, Tableau, or similar platforms.
• Able to communicate effectively with Planning/Implementation, managerial and technical levels and clearly present technical approaches and findings related to resolving business problems through technology.
• Regularly audit the power consumption of the network
• Analyze and evaluate solutions and proposals by vendors.
• Provide inputs to the RFQ process.
• Development/analysis/evaluation of reporting model projects.
• Co-ordination with internal & external stakeholders of various projects.
• USF Project reporting.
• Provide timely insights and flag potential issues for early resolution.
• Maintaining close coordination with Field teams to achieving the overall job objectives
• Effective liaison with the departments for obtaining the information required to perform the day-to-day activities.
• Monitor and ensure all targets and KPIs are met to secure the set goals.
• Understanding the assigned Network maintenance functionally and technically
• Identify gaps in the current system and come up with appropriate action plan
• Regular reporting of status for all sites with coordination of project control department
• Perform random site visits during the installation, commissioning and acceptance testing of the BTS, BSC and transmission systems in order to ensure that the quality standards given are fulfilled
• Follow up of PR/PO
• Coordination with supplier for deliveries of Purchase order
• Flexible for site traveling round the clock.
• Subcontractor performance management and trainings.

Your Typical Day will look like:

• Responsible for identification of Reporting & Analysis needs at regional level.
• Performance management of region.
• Regularly audit the power consumption of the network
• Identify gaps in the current system and come up with appropriate action plan
• Regular reporting of status for all sites with coordination of project control department
• Performing routine maintenance tasks on power infrastructure, such as testing generators, batteries, and Solar, to ensure optimal performance.
• Monitoring power consumption and energy efficiency of telecom equipment
• Maintaining detailed records of power system configurations, maintenance procedures.
• Energy OPEX daily dashboard review, and progress tracking and action planning for low-performing sites
• Network preventive maintenance activities review
• Weekly/Monthly activities financial reconciliation of regional activities
• Network KPI monitoring and improvement plans for low-performing areas
