What is Assistant Manager Network?

Assistant Manager Network supports the Manager in overseeing daily network operations, ensuring smooth workflows and timely completion of tasks. This role supervises and motivates the network team to maintain high performance and customer satisfaction. It involves troubleshooting network issues, coordinating with Internet Service Providers, monitoring operational quality, and assisting in staff development and project execution.

What Assistant Manager Network does?

Operational Support and Team Supervision:

• Assist the Manager in overseeing daily network operations to maintain smooth workflow and task completion.
• Supervise, motivate, and develop the team to ensure high productivity and customer satisfaction.
• Address operational issues and customer concerns promptly with effective solutions.

Reporting and Performance Monitoring:

• Prepare operational metrics reports and provide actionable insights for performance improvements.
• Monitor and maintain quality standards in all team processes and outputs.

Training and Development:

• Assist in onboarding new employees and supporting continuous staff development.
• Ensure adherence to company standards and industry best practices.

Coordination and Communication:

• Serve as a liaison between network staff and senior management to facilitate clear communication and alignment.
• Coordinate with Internet Service Providers for branch support and network issue resolution.

Resource and Project Support:

• Assist in managing inventory and resources to optimize operational efficiency.
• Support planning, execution, and monitoring of network projects to meet deadlines and objectives.

What are we looking for and what does it require to be Assistant Manager Network ?

Experience:

• Minimum 3 years of experience in network operations or security, with at least some leadership or supervisory responsibility.
• Hands-on experience with FortiGate, Cisco FTD, Sophos Firewall, FortiManager, and data center networking.
• Knowledge of site-to-site IPsec VPN troubleshooting and UTM features.
• Experience with SD-WAN implementations and architecture.
• Understanding of private cloud concepts.
• Experience coordinating with ISPs for branch network support.

Educational Background:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Telecommunications, Information Security, or related field.
• Relevant certifications such as CCNA, CCNP, or equivalent are preferred.

Soft Skills:

• Strong leadership and team management capabilities.
• Excellent problem-solving skills with keen attention to detail.
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work well under pressure while managing multiple tasks.
