We are currently searching for an Associate Attorney to join our team. In this role, you will represent clients in legal proceedings in both New Jersey and Pennsylvania, managing your own caseload of Elder Law and Estate Planning cases.

A typical day will involve meeting clients in person and then leading a team consisting of a paralegal and support staff on a client's legal needs. This role also includes a hybrid work schedule.

Responsibilities

• Represent clients in theChancery Division and Law Division in New Jersey, and theRegister of Wills and Orphan's Court in Pennsylvania.
• Draft and prepare estate planning documents, includingWills,Trusts,Powers of Attorney,Living Wills, andGuardianship Pleadings.
• Ensure compliance with all legal standards and regulations related toElder LawandEstate Planning.
• Manage administrative and operational functions to ensure smooth practice operations and client satisfaction.
• Advise clients onbusiness and legal transactions.
• Negotiate settlements for legal disputes and resolve cases effectively.

• Licensed to practice law inNew JerseyandPennsylvania.
• Minimum of 4 yearsof legal experience.
• 2-3 yearsof experience inElder Lawand/orEstate Planningpreferred.
• Familiarity with variouslegal documentsrelated to estate planning and elder law.
• Stronganalyticalandproblem-solving skills.
• Ability tobuild rapportand establish trust with clients.
• Excellentwrittenandverbal communication skills.
• Proficient inMicrosoft OfficeandExcel.
• Ago-getterwith a strong work ethic and a proactive attitude.
• Knowledge ofAmicus Attorney Case Management Softwareis a plus but not required.
• Ability to conveyconfidencein person, on the phone, and in court.
• Demonstratesempathyfor clients, providing reassurance during challenging times.
• Detail-oriented, ensuring quality and precision in all tasks.
• Outcome-orientedwith a focus on delivering results.
• Stable, with strong processes and a structured approach to work.
• Team-oriented, cooperative, and collaborative with colleagues.

$95,000 + (Yearly) yearly
