Responsibilities:- Conduct research on SMEs, focusing on their financial needs, growth challenges, and market dynamics using quantitative and qualitative methods.
- Prepare and issue industry/sector-specific research periodically.
- Analyze market segments in relation to market demand, competition, and FBL's market positioning and requirements.
- Prepare and issue SME cluster studies and outline the bank's approach in light of domestic and global experiences.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to align research objectives with business goals and integrate insights into product offerings, risk assessment models, and customer engagement strategies.
- Use advanced statistical methods and data analysis tools to interpret complex datasets and derive insights for decision-making.
- Lead and manage research projects from conception to execution, ensuring timely delivery and collaboration with cross-functional teams.
- Identify and propose new methodologies and technologies to enhance the bank's SME offerings and contribute to innovative product development, including specialized customer-centric financing products and digital banking tools.
- Establish and maintain partnerships with academic institutions, industry experts, and regulatory bodies, participating in workshops and networking events.
- Provide training and mentorship to staff members (especially SME managers) in research methodologies and analytical techniques, fostering a culture of continuous learning.
- Adhere to SBP guidelines for promoting SME business, including conducting roadshows and collaborating with organizations like IFC and SMEDA.
- Prepare research papers, reports, and presentations for internal and external audiences; publish findings in journals and present at conferences.
