About the role:
This role will be driving initiatives that shape the direction of Telenor in achieving its customer & revenue ambitions through identifying customer insights using behavioral and research data sets.
Your Impactful goals will include:
The position requires you to work under supervision of Senior Manager Segments for implementation of strategic initiatives and development of day to day analytical/reporting assignments:
- Take ownership of the High Value Cluster (HVC Base) and its growth by carefully analyzing all factors impacting it.
- Monitor revenue, traffic and subscriber trends and work with respective segments to identify potential ways to grow HVC base and reduce churn.
- Conduct periodic and ad-hoc analysis to evaluate the impact of pricing moves, new variant launches, network interventions etc. on HVC base behavior.
- Maintain the practice of independent analysis on HVC subscriber health trends to uncover behavioral patterns supporting future portfolio and investment decisions
- Collect plans from the rest of the commercial organization and create a driver-based HVC subscriber forecast to guide the future planning.
- Drive the monthly, quarterly and annual target setting process to recommend targets for HVC base growth and churn reduction for the organization as well as cascaded targets for every portfolio owner and geographic segments.
- Build a strategy for HVC base protection & ARPU growth ranging from new product launches, existing products revamp, service bundling and product uptake
- Take ownership of the High Value customer journey and ensure a seamless running of existing and new products with constant improvements to improve customer experience and engagement for the High value customer
- Maintain a close eye on HVC base and their behaviour by ensuring timely analysis and maintenance of reports and dashboards to gauge subscribers, churners, rejoiners, engagement and other KPIs.
- Ensuring that the organization is presented with deeper insights, both on opportunities and assessment of past initiatives to drive data-driven decisions.
- Interact with key stakeholders, involving Segments, Pricing, Business Intelligence, Technology, Sales and Product development to drive HVC agenda.
- Be responsible for key ambitions involving HVC subscriber base growth, revenues, voice & data adoption, service churn, penetration in new subscribers etc.
Your Typical day at work
- Going through the key statistics, by looking at the developed reports/ dashboards and identifying areas of concern and opportunities.
- Identifying areas which demand further analysis and presenting them to stakeholders in and across departments.
- Bringing in insights beyond behavioral data and exploring multiple dimensions such as usage, complimentary offer behavior, geography, payment types, life cycle and so on.
- Converting opportunities into actionable initiatives and executing through product development.
- Making communication plans for the new initiatives.
- Taking ownership of all product related changes involving entire value chain from CCD, Product Development to Brands
- Coordinate with Sales & Distribution and the Regional/Circle teams for keeping track of product uptake, quality of sale, voice engagement & penetration.
What we are looking for?
Education: MBA, BBA, Economics/Maths Majors
Work experience:
- 4 - 6 years of experience in related roles
- Experience in analysis of business trends / monitoring of KPI related to Business area
- Experience in Performance and Product Management
- Experience in Business planning / forecasting / Development of Business cases based on current trend
Functional Skills / Knowledge Areas:
- Great command over Excel and Powerpoint. SQL will be a plus.
- Strong analytical skills with good business and marketing logic
- Immaculate communication skills (both verbal and written)
- People & Stakeholder Management
- Curiousness, eagerness and ability to learn fast
- Ability to handle pressure
