We are seeking a motivated and experienced SEO Executive to join our marketing team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing and implementing effective search engine optimization (SEO) strategies while working closely with our content and development teams to optimize organic traffic to our website and improve our search engine rankings.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct in-depth keyword research to identify high-value search terms aligned with business objectives and user intent.
  • Optimize website content, meta titles, descriptions, headers, images (alt text), internal linking, and URL structures for maximum search visibility.
  • Collaborate with content and marketing teams to develop and implement SEO-focused content strategies, including landing pages, blogs, and product descriptions.
  • Ensure all content adheres to the latest Google Search Essentials (formerly Webmaster Guidelines), including E-E-A-T (Experience, Expertise, Authoritativeness, Trustworthiness) principles.
  • Regularly update and refresh existing content to maintain relevance and improve rankings.
  • Develop and execute effective link-building strategies to acquire high-quality backlinks from authoritative sources.
  • Build and maintain relationships with relevant third-party websites, influencers, and partners for outreach and guest posting opportunities.
  • Monitor and manage the website's backlink profile, disavowing toxic links and ensuring a healthy link ecosystem.
  • Leverage social media and digital PR to amplify content reach and earn natural links.
  • Perform comprehensive technical SEO audits using tools such as Screaming Frog, SEMrush, or Ahrefs to identify and resolve issues affecting crawlability, indexation, and site performance.
  • Collaborate with web developers to implement technical fixes, including improving page load speed, mobile responsiveness, structured data/schema markup, XML sitemaps, robots.txt, and cannibalization.
  • Optimize site architecture for enhanced usability, crawl efficiency, and user experience.
  • Ensure all pages are accessible, secure (HTTPS), and follow Core Web Vitals and mobile-first indexing guidelines.
  • Monitor and resolve crawl errors, broken links, and duplicate content issues.
  • Track, analyze, and report on key SEO metrics such as organic traffic, keyword rankings, CTR, bounce rate, and conversions using Google Analytics, Search Console, and Looker Studio.
  • Set measurable SEO goals and KPIs, providing actionable insights and recommendations to stakeholders.
  • Stay updated with the latest SEO trends, algorithm updates, and industry developments, proactively adapting strategies to maintain a competitive edge.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Information Technology, or related field preferred.
  • Proven experience as an SEO Executive, SEO Specialist, or similar role.
  • Solid understanding of search engine algorithms and ranking methods.
  • Hands-on experience with SEO tools (e.g., Google Analytics, Google Search Console, Moz, etc.).
  • Certification in Google Analytics or other SEO-related certifications is a bonus.
