Job Overview:

We are seeking a Senior Network Security Engineer to design, implement, and manage secure, scalable network infrastructures. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in deploying firewalls, routers, and VPN solutions, along with expertise in enterprise security, network monitoring, and cloud networking.

Required Skills & Experience:

  • 5+ years of experience in network engineering, security, and infrastructure deployment
  • Proven ability to design and implement network security infrastructure from scratch
  • Strong knowledge of firewall security, VPN technologies, network security policies, and threat mitigation
  • Experience with Windows and Linux server administration and security configurations
  • Proficiency with SIEM tools, network monitoring solutions, and cloud networking (AWS)
  • Experience with ITSM tools such as Jira and ServiceNow
  • Strong skills in network architecture and design for secure, scalable environments in public clouds (AWS, Azure)
Industry Certifications:

Must have
  • Cisco / ASA Firewall: CCNP Security, CCNP Enterprise, or similar
  • Fortinet Firewall: NSE4+ or similar
Good to Have
  • AWS Security Specialty
  • AWS Solution Architect
  • Palo Alto: PCNSE or similar
Key Responsibilities:
  • Configure and deploy firewalls (Cisco ASA, Palo Alto, Fortinet, Check Point, Juniper SRX) in on-prem or cloud environments
  • Design and implement secure, high-availability network architectures with advanced threat mitigation
  • Set up and manage VPN solutions (Site-to-Site, Remote Access, SSL/IPsec)
  • Maintain firewall rules, NAT, ACLs, and IPS/IDS for threat detection
  • Deploy and manage endpoint security solutions (EDR, XDR, MDR)
  • Harden server OS security according to standards
  • Implement and manage network monitoring tools (SolarWinds, PRTG, Nagios) and SIEM solutions (Splunk, QRadar, Microsoft Sentinel)
  • Design and integrate AWS networking components (VPC, Transit Gateway, Security Groups, VPNs)
  • Use ITSM tools for project tracking and maintain network documentation and security policies
