About the Team

We are seeking a Senior Enterprise Identity & Access Management (IAM) Engineer. You will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining our enterprise IAM services (e.g., Okta, SailPoint, Thycotic, CyberArk), onboarding applications, and driving innovation in a fast-growing, dynamic environment. You will work independently and collaboratively, making technical decisions and promoting best practices across teams.

You will collaborate closely with Infrastructure, IT, Compliance, and Legal teams to develop secure, robust IAM systems. As a remote-first company, we face unique challenges in IAM that you will help solve, aiming to reduce friction and meet stringent security standards.

What You'll Do
  1. Support and maintain a world-class enterprise IAM infrastructure aligned with business goals.
  2. Implement, modernize, and ensure adoption of IAM systems that are secure, compliant, and user-friendly.
  3. Address business and user experience challenges through technology solutions.
  4. Contribute to the development of our identity architecture and strategic decisions.
  5. Communicate effectively with stakeholders.
  6. Mentor junior team members to foster growth.
What You'll Need
  • Deep hands-on knowledge of authentication protocols (e.g., SSO, OAuth2, SAML, OpenID Connect).
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related fields.
  • Minimum 6 years of experience in enterprise IAM systems.
  • A proactive, 'can do' attitude and excellent communication skills.
  • Passion for automation and reducing toil.
  • Experience with IAM vendors like Okta and SailPoint.
  • Knowledge of IAM controls for regulations such as SOx, GDPR.
  • Experience with cloud IAM systems like AWS Directory Service.
  • Ability to shape and implement IAM vision and roadmaps.
  • Skills to design secure, seamless access systems for internal users.
  • Proficiency with automation tools and languages (Python, scripting, Git, CI/CD).
  • Experience managing Privileged Access Management (PAM) systems.
  • Experience in hyper-growth e-commerce environments.
