Job Purpose:

The Sr. Executive Marketing Finance is responsible for effectively managing and overseeing departmental A & P budget, Expense booking & Reporting (GRNs, Accruals & Reversals) while ensuring timely execution of marketing campaigns and campaigns tracking. This role involves assuring timely availability of budgets and raising purchase requisitions (PR) to facilitate smooth campaign operations. Additionally, the Executive Marketing Finance will closely coordinate with all departmental teams, as well as collaborate with other departments on financial matters related to marketing activities. The primary goal is to ensure the efficient and effective allocation of financial resources, enabling marketing team to successfully implement the marketing strategies and initiatives. This role also involves Business Risk Management, Internal controls management, Integrity Risk Management and compliance assurance related to marketing department.

Job Responsibilities:

• Managing A & P Budgets, timely availability of campaign budgets to attain the maximum output.
• Coordinate with marketing teams to lock the quarterly and annual A & P Budget requirements.
• Monthly A & P expense booking by coordinating with marketing teams to timely release GRNs and provide accruals and further coordinating with Finance on accrual/reversal matters.
• Monthly reporting of A & P expense and reconciliation with Finance along with PO wise grain to track the actual expense booked against each PO.
• A & P spend monitoring and circulating dashboard with marketing teams and management.
• Initiating Purchase requisitions (PR) for timely execution of departmental campaigns.
• Preparation & Reconciliation of Early Payment Discount (EPD) & Bulk Discount (BD) with Media Agency.
• Inter-departmental coordination for smooth execution of campaigns with Finance, Procurement, Tax teams and Finance payable.
• Business Partners management including Creative, Media, Research & OOH Agencies for matters related to service approval and invoicing.
• Manage the Procure to Pay cycle from initiating PRs, ARNs/GRNs and leading to Payment approvals in ERP.
• Managing all tax (GST, WHT) related matters with tax team.
• Review all Marketing related contracts with respect to commercial terms, service approvals, payments, bonuses and penalties.
• Vendor Management and contracts handling. Strong control on issues related to Marketing finance, Taxation, procurement and Payables.
• Ability to create reporting dashboards for all the weekly, monthly reports as per management requirements.
• Command over ERP Financial Modules will be preferred.
• Responsible to manage all marketing department Policies in PPMS, along with coordination with CAD and marketing department on policies matters.
• Coordinate with teams on matters related to Business Risk Management (evaluation, reporting and tracking of business risks).
• Coordinate with teams on matters related to internal controls (evaluation, reporting and self-inspection of internal controls).
• Coordinate with teams on matters related to Integrity risks (evaluation, reporting and self-inspection of Integrity risks).
• Coordinate with teams on matters related to compliance assurance with reference to internal policies & external legal and regulatory requirements.
• Coordinate with teams on matters related to Internal Audit and CMCC audit assignments.

Eligibility Criteria (Education, Knowledge, Experience and Skills):

Education:

• Minimum Bachelors Degree in Business/similar fields, Master's degree will be preferred, ACCA, ACMA or CA (inter)

Work Experience:

• Up to 3-5 Years of relevant experience
