Job Summary:

We are looking for an experienced Business Development Manager with expertise in software development, digital marketing, and staff augmentation services. This role requires a strong understanding of IT solutions, experience working with developers, and the ability to generate and qualify leads. The ideal candidate will be responsible for reviewing sales closer notes, preparing accurate project proposals, and ensuring the correct pricing structure. Additionally, they will generate leads via email outreach, book marketing-qualified leads (MQLs) for account executives, and support the project manager in closing deals.

Key Responsibilities:

Lead Generation & Appointment Setting:
  • Execute email outreach campaigns to generate leads for software development, staff augmentation, and digital marketing services.
  • Qualify potential clients and book MQLs (Marketing Qualified Leads) on the account executives' calendars.
  • Build and maintain a prospect database, tracking engagement and follow-ups.
  • Work closely with the marketing team to align lead generation efforts with overall sales strategies.
Proposal & Costing Management:
  • Review sales closer notes to fully understand client needs, project scope, and technical requirements.
  • Prepare detailed proposals for software development, staff augmentation, and digital marketing services, ensuring accurate pricing.
  • Collaborate with developers and technical teams to ensure feasibility and realistic cost estimates.
  • Ensure proposals align with industry standards, market trends, and profitability goals.
  • Present and explain proposals to the project manager, ensuring clarity on scope, timeline, and cost.
  • Support the sales and project teams in negotiating terms and addressing client concerns.
  • Work closely with developers and technical teams to bridge the gap between business needs and technical execution.
  • Assist in contract negotiations and finalizing agreements with clients.
Industry Research & Strategy Improvement:
  • Stay updated on trends in software development, staff augmentation, and digital marketing to refine sales strategies.
  • Improve lead generation tactics, pricing models, and the sales-to-project handover process.
  • Develop insights into competitor pricing and market demands to enhance business growth.

Qualifications & Skills:

  • Proven experience in business development, lead generation, or sales in IT/software development and staff augmentation.
  • Strong understanding of software development life cycle (SDLC), digital marketing, and IT staffing solutions.
  • Experience working directly with developers and technical teams.
  • Hands-on experience with email outreach, CRM tools, and lead qualification techniques.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and proposal-writing skills.
  • Ability to analyze requirements, create detailed cost estimates, and close deals efficiently.
  • Strong organizational and multitasking abilities to manage multiple leads and proposals effectively.
