Position Summary

This is a research and systems design role within TCF's Strategic Alignment portfolio. As Project Manager – SESA, you will lead the design and execution of a strategic system assessment to evaluate TCF's performance as a large-scale education provider operating in complex and evolving environments.

You will apply systems thinking, qualitative research, and strategic inquiry to develop a diagnostic map of the organization's value creation process, identifying bottlenecks and areas for improvement. This role blends intellectual depth with practical execution and will play a critical role in shaping how TCF approaches system-wide improvement and innovation.

Key Responsibilities

System Mapping & Framework Design

• Develop a contextually grounded system assessment framework by leveraging global research and methodologies.
• Create visual and conceptual representations of how the TCF system operates—including flows of information, value, and decision-making.

Research & Data Collection

• Design and implement a robust research plan, including document reviews, policy analysis, key informant interviews (KIIs), and focus group discussions (FGDs).
• Conduct qualitative research with rigour and sensitivity across multiple stakeholder groups (school leaders, field staff, internal teams).

Analysis & Communication

• Analyze research findings to generate strategic insights that guide actionable decisions.
• Develop clear, concise, and visually compelling outputs for internal decision-making.
• Ensure alignment with TCF's organizational planning and strategy cycles.

Strategic Contributions

• Identify opportunities for systemic change and contribute to the broader efforts of the Strategic Alignment team.
• Support leadership in integrating research insights into planning, program design, and policy formulation.

Candidate Profile

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Education, Social Sciences, or a related field (Master's degree preferred).

Experience

• 3–5 years of professional experience in education delivery, research, assessments, or system-level roles.
• Exposure to systems thinking and change methodologies is highly desirable.
