System Assessment Specialist - Educational Systems Improvement
">This role involves leading the design and execution of a strategic system assessment to evaluate an organization's performance as a large-scale education provider operating in complex and evolving environments.
">You will apply systems thinking, qualitative research, and strategic inquiry to develop a diagnostic map of the organization's value creation process, identifying bottlenecks and areas for improvement.
">Key responsibilities include:
">- Developing a contextually grounded system assessment framework by leveraging global research and methodologies.">
- Creating visual and conceptual representations of how the organization's system operates – including flows of information, value, and decision-making.">
- Designing and implementing a robust research plan, including document reviews, policy analysis, key informant interviews, and focus group discussions.">
- Conducting qualitative research with rigour and sensitivity across multiple stakeholder groups – school leaders, field staff, internal teams.">
- Analyzing research findings to generate strategic insights that guide actionable decisions.">
- Developing clear, concise, and visually compelling outputs for internal decision-making.">
- Ensuring alignment with the organization's organizational planning and strategy cycles.">
The ideal candidate will have a bachelor's degree in education, social sciences, or a related field, with 3-5 years of professional experience in education delivery, research, assessments, or system-level roles. They should possess analytical fluency, research excellence, contextual intelligence, design orientation, integrity and empathy, bias for action, and mission-driven mindset.
">Success indicators include developing a credible, context-aware systems diagnosis framework, identifying key systemic bottlenecks, communicating effectively, informing organizational planning and decision-making, and leading to measurable shifts in internal policy and program design.
