SoloSoft Technologies Pvt Ltd in IT Park, Abbottabad is looking for a Business Development Manager for GIS operations.
We offer the following services in GIS:
- Training Program in GIS & RS.
- GIS Project Consultancies.
- Coordinates a variety of projects and/or activities to ensure compliance with established guidelines.
- Work with the GIS team to design technical courses for the purpose of training personnel in the use of computer applications according to clients.
- Market our GIS services and products.
- Monitors fund balances of assigned programs and related financial activity to ensure that allocations are accurate, related revenues are generated, and expenses are within budget limits and/or fiscal practices are followed.
- Participates in meetings, workshops, and seminars to convey and/or gather information required to perform functions.
- Prepares a variety of materials (e.g., reports, memos, letters, procedures, manuals, etc.) to document activities, provide written reference, and/or convey information.
- Researches software applications and hardware requirements to preview products and provide recommendations regarding applications and purchases.
- Responds to inquiries to provide information and/or direction.
- Serves as liaison to software/hardware providers to convey and/or receive information and coordinate district activities.
- Actively involved in the design and development of GIS services and products.
Candidate must be a graduate in Environmental Sciences, Earth Sciences, or Geophysics with basic knowledge of GIS software. The ideal candidate will be a resident of the COMSATS Abbottabad campus and have experience in GIS projects.
