SoloSoft Technologies Pvt Ltd in IT Park, Abbottabad is looking for a Business Development Manager for GIS operations.

We offer the following services in GIS:

  1. Training Program in GIS & RS.
  2. GIS Project Consultancies.
Job Responsibilities:
  1. Coordinates a variety of projects and/or activities to ensure compliance with established guidelines.
  2. Work with the GIS team to design technical courses for the purpose of training personnel in the use of computer applications according to clients.
  3. Market our GIS services and products.
  4. Monitors fund balances of assigned programs and related financial activity to ensure that allocations are accurate, related revenues are generated, and expenses are within budget limits and/or fiscal practices are followed.
  5. Participates in meetings, workshops, and seminars to convey and/or gather information required to perform functions.
  6. Prepares a variety of materials (e.g., reports, memos, letters, procedures, manuals, etc.) to document activities, provide written reference, and/or convey information.
  7. Researches software applications and hardware requirements to preview products and provide recommendations regarding applications and purchases.
  8. Responds to inquiries to provide information and/or direction.
  9. Serves as liaison to software/hardware providers to convey and/or receive information and coordinate district activities.
  10. Actively involved in the design and development of GIS services and products.
Job Specification:

Candidate must be a graduate in Environmental Sciences, Earth Sciences, or Geophysics with basic knowledge of GIS software. The ideal candidate will be a resident of the COMSATS Abbottabad campus and have experience in GIS projects.
