Senior Business Development Manager (Expert-Level)

Overview:

The Senior BD Manager is a high-level strategic role requiring significant experience in closing high-value deals, managing teams, setting direction, and driving measurable growth. This individual must own the process from vision to execution while also leading communication with top-level executives.

Location:

Onsite, Garden Town

Compensation:

100k-200k

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Own the full sales cycle and acquire high-ticket clients through Upwork, LinkedIn, and direct outreach.
  2. Communicate with CEOs, CTOs, founders, and high-tier decision-makers confidently and consultatively.
  3. Lead strategic planning for business development goals, including forecasting and team targets.
  4. Create and implement custom strategies for client acquisition, pricing, and positioning.
  5. Mentor mid and junior team members, track KPIs, and hold them accountable.
  6. Deliver training sessions, sales playbooks, and process improvements.
  7. Review sales data and generate insight reports for decision-making.
  8. Lead negotiations, proposal finalization, and onboarding for large accounts.
  9. Represent the company in industry events and partnership discussions.
Requirements:
  1. 3-6+ years of proven success with documented deal closures (including size/impact).
  2. A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related IT field is preferred.
  3. Leadership experience in managing and training business development teams.
  4. Excellent English communication skills, especially with C-level professionals.
  5. Deep understanding of Upwork, LinkedIn, and B2B client behavior.
  6. Proactive in setting up BD systems, strategy blueprints, and revenue pipelines.
  7. Strategic thinker with accountability for results, implementation, and team growth.
