We are a fast-growing, U.S.-based direct-to-consumer (DTC) eCommerce company operating on Shopify. Our products are marketed and sold exclusively across the United States, with a strong focus on digital innovation, operational efficiency, and exceptional customer experience. With a global structure and operations team in Karachi, we are looking for a Senior Marketing Manager who can own and execute our growth strategy with a U.S. market mindset.

This is a key leadership position designed for a candidate who is digitally fluent, data-driven, execution-focused, and understands how to build and scale Shopify-based growth in a competitive American eCommerce landscape.

Role Summary

As Senior Marketing Manager, you will be responsible for planning, executing, and optimizing marketing strategies tailored for the U.S. market. You will lead Shopify store growth, manage paid digital advertising, improve customer acquisition and retention, and oversee a small in-house team. You will report to the U.S.-based executive team and collaborate cross-functionally to ensure consistent, scalable performance.

This role requires strategic thinking, operational oversight, and hands-on execution across all major digital marketing functions.

Key Responsibilities

Marketing Strategy and Campaign Planning

  • Develop and manage digital marketing campaigns focused on customer acquisition, conversion, and retention across the U.S. market.
  • Own the monthly campaign calendar for paid ads, email marketing, promotions, and product launches.
  • Conduct weekly performance reviews and adjust strategies based on data insights.

Shopify Store Management

  • Manage the front-end and back-end of the Shopify store, including product listings, promotions, collections, and homepage merchandising.
  • Coordinate with design and development to enhance UX, optimize conversion rates (CRO), and ensure SEO compliance.
  • Execute A/B testing to optimize site performance and page layouts.

Digital Advertising and Performance Marketing

  • Plan, launch, and manage high-performing campaigns on Google Ads, Facebook/Instagram, and other digital platforms.
  • Continuously monitor ad performance and improve metrics such as CTR, ROAS, CPA, and customer lifetime value (LTV).
  • Implement remarketing, lookalike audience campaigns, and cross-channel tracking.

Email Marketing and Lifecycle Automation

  • Create and schedule email campaigns for product launches, promotions, and retention.
  • Build lifecycle flows including welcome series, abandoned cart, post-purchase, and win-back sequences using Klaviyo or Mailchimp.
  • Monitor open rates, click-through rates, conversions, and revenue attribution.

SEO and Content Marketing

  • Oversee keyword strategy, content structure, and technical SEO in collaboration with writers and web developers.
  • Manage the creation and publication of blog articles, product descriptions, and landing pages targeted to U.S. audiences.
  • Utilize tools like Ahrefs, SEMrush, or Moz to monitor rankings and content performance.

Team Leadership and Collaboration

  • Lead and mentor a small local team of marketers, creatives, and coordinators.
  • Assign clear objectives and track progress toward KPIs for all team members.
  • Work directly with U.S.-based leadership to ensure brand consistency, market alignment, and unified messaging.

Analytics and Reporting

  • Build and maintain performance dashboards using Google Analytics 4 (GA4), Shopify Analytics, and Google Data Studio.
  • Analyze campaign and sales data to generate actionable insights.
  • Report on core metrics: CAC, ROAS, AOV, traffic sources, conversion rates, and retention trends.
What We're Looking For

Education

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, Communications, or a related field (required).
  • Additional certifications in digital marketing platforms (e.g., Google Ads, Facebook Blueprint, HubSpot) are a plus.

Experience

  • 5–8 years of experience in digital marketing or eCommerce, including leadership of cross-functional teams.
  • Proven success managing Shopify stores targeting U.S. customers.
  • Strong track record in managing budgets, scaling ad campaigns, and optimizing digital channels for revenue growth.

Technical Skills

  • Shopify admin and theme experience, wordpress
  • Google Ads, Meta Ads (Facebook/Instagram), and LinkedIn Ads
  • Email platforms: Klaviyo, Mailchimp, Constant Contact
  • CRM: HubSpot, Salesforce
  • SEO tools: Ahrefs, SEMrush, Moz
  • Analytics: Google Analytics 4 (GA4), Google Data Studio
  • Design: Canva, Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop
  • Project management: Trello, Asana, Slack, Notion

Soft Skills

  • Strong verbal and written communication in English
  • Deep understanding of U.S. consumer behavior, seasonal shopping trends, and buyer psychology
  • Analytical, detail-oriented, and highly organized
  • Able to work independently and lead cross-functional collaboration
  • Results-driven and accountable for team performance
