Qualifications and Competencies:

• Bachelor's Degree in Electronics/Instrumentation Engineering
• Practical Experience on maintenance of Instrumentation and Automation System in Oil & Gas, Petrochemicals, or related industries.
• Well familiar with HSEQ Standards / Work Practices in a Fuel Oil Refinery / Petrochemical Plants, Hands-on experience on Enterprise Resource Planner (ERP) System, e.g., SAP, Good understanding of P&IDs, Logic Diagrams, Cause & Effect Charts, PFDs, interlocking Drawings, etc.
• Good Communication and Presentation Skills. Strong analytical skills, including statistical skills.
• Practical maintenance troubleshooting experience on advanced Electronics Type Flow meters, Pressure Transmitters, Temperature Transmitters, Speed Monitoring System, Vibration Monitoring system, Control Valves, Positioners, Solenoid Operated Valves, Limit Switches, Pressure & Temperature Gauges, analyzers, and F&G Detection system, and all types of field instruments.
• Should have extensive experience in performing jobs on DCS (Distributed Control System), ESD (Emergency Shutdown System), PLCs (Programmable Logic Controllers)
• Hands-on experience on the Yokogawa DCS Centum-VP and Honeywell DCS Experion-PKS
• Hands-on experience on the Yokogawa ESD ProSafe-RS and Honeywell ESD Safety Manager Systems
• Familiarization with ladder logic and functional blocks implementation in PLCs

Experience:

• Up to 08 years' experience.

Responsibilities:

• Responsible for ensuring the availability of Field Instrumentation Systems as per Process requirements.
• Ensure timely completion of Preventive, Corrective, Breakdown, Shutdown, and Turnaround Maintenance activities.
• Ensure the compliance of the PARCO Corporate Policies, Guidelines, Procedures, and applicable Regulatory requirements in his group and arrange trainings and provide guidance to his staff so that they grow to their full potential.
• Carry out cost optimization studies to reduce the overall cost of Field Instrumentation maintenance services.
• Provide field instrumentation-related maintenance inputs on Modification / Engineering Packages, Contractor Scope of Works, and Technical Evaluations.
• Effectively coordinate with relevant sections to ensure availability of adequate levels of stock materials and spares to sustain field instrumentation maintenance.
• Responsible for Maintenance and Troubleshooting of DCS, ESD and PLC Systems.
• Responsible for managing Preventive & Corrective Maintenance of Control Systems installed in the Refinery.
• Diagnose and resolve issues in control systems, perform root cause analysis, and implement corrective actions to ensure minimal downtime.
• Create and maintain detailed documentation such as wiring diagrams, control logic descriptions, user manuals, and ensure systems meet regulatory and safety standards.
• Analyze system performance and implement control strategies or upgrades/obsolescence management to optimize productivity and system efficiency.
