· Conduct technical assessments of schools to identify WASH needs (water supply, toilets, handwashing stations, drainage, etc.).

· Prepare detailed engineering designs, BoQs, and cost estimates for WASH facilities in accordance with national standards and gender-sensitive guidelines.

· Supervise and monitor construction and rehabilitation of WASH facilities ensuring quality, safety, and timely completion.

· Coordinate with school management, local authorities, contractors, and community stakeholders.

· Ensure that WASH facilities meet the needs of adolescent girls, including menstrual hygiene management (MHM) components.

· Maintain detailed documentation, including site reports, progress updates, and contractor evaluations.

· Support the procurement process by preparing technical specifications and verifying materials on-site.

· Ensure environmental protection and safe disposal practices are integrated into WASH interventions.

· Provide technical input for community awareness and hygiene promotion sessions.

· Report regularly to the Project Manager and contribute to donor reporting as needed.

· Provide feedback to the Area Office and Country Office to assess the effectiveness and impact of projects, suggesting recommendations for improvement.

· Collaborate with the Area Manager to develop and maintain weekly and monthly plans, along with comprehensive records of engineering work, including site visits and progress reporting.

· Develop Feedback Reports, Proposals, and other project-relevant documents in consultation with the supervisor.

Requirements

B.Sc / BE/ B.Tech in Civil Engineering with 4 years of experience, and DAE in Civil Engineering with 7 years of experience implementing WASH projects, preferably in school settings.

Possess excellent knowledge of water systems, including water filtration systems, pipe materials, network accessories, and School WASH.

Demonstrate a commitment to beneficiary accountability and adherence to humanitarian principles.

Proficient in MS Office, AutoCAD, and engineering software tools.

Excellent written and spoken communication skills in English and Urdu.

Strong leadership and problem-solving skills, Gender-sensitive and culturally aware
