About The Role

We are seeking a Project Management Specialist for a large integrated solar client of ours based in the US. The candidate will need to have experience in completing project management tasks for construction, engineering or designing/building projects. The project management specialist plays a critical role in the development of projects and working on multiple simultaneous projects. This person will work closely with client team (Project Managers and Site Superintendents) to support the execution of MW scale solar projects across the US. This is a high visibility role, providing excellent professional development and experience across the full lifecycle of large renewable/construction projects in the US.

Job Responsibilities

• Support project managers on technical, commercial and logistical tasks, including permitting, RFI's, technical assessment, customer interaction, and utility coordination.
• Prepare bid documents, set up Procore Bidroom, and manage subcontractor bid/buy out process and assist in any subcontractor invoicing questions/issues.
• Coordinate compliance of administrative and accounting requirements in subcontracts and maintain up-to-date records, assisting PM with bid and closeout process as needed.
• Coordinate Building Permit submittal packages and submit Building permit application packages when needed.
• Manage RFI's through the engineering team by entering RFI requests into the appropriate software (Procore).
• Manage all subcontractor submittals through the designated approval process.
• Coordinate with PM to update major equipment delivery dates and follow-up with vendors/procurement regarding delivery dates.
• Provide feedback/updates on any outstanding punch items generated by the QA/QC team.

Qualifications / Skills:

• Bachelor's degree in engineering from a four-year university.
• 3+ years of direct experience in project management – solar projects a strong preference.
• PMP certification required.
• Knowledge and comfort with ERP systems – Knowledge of Pro Core and Pro Core Bid Room a strong plus.
• MS Excel proficiency with a demonstrated comfort in handling data, data processing and compilation.
• Systematic thinker who is comfortable in understanding and executing sequential and parallel tasks.
• Ability to coordinate and prioritize multiple projects and tasks.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work in a team environment as well as work independently.
• Professional command of English both written and verbal.

This position requires some overlap with US Hours ~ 2:00pm - 11:00pm Pakistan Time, Monday - Friday
