Job Summary:

The position of Assistant Store In-Charge plays a vital role in ensuring the smooth and efficient functioning of store operations. The primary responsibility is to support the Store In-Charge in day-to-day activities, including inventory management, customer service, staff coordination, and compliance with company policies. This role requires attention to detail, organizational skills, and the ability to handle multiple tasks effectively.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Assist the Store In-Charge in managing day-to-day store operations, including receiving, storing, and issuing materials.
  2. Maintain accurate records of stock levels, receipts, and dispatches in hard and soft form.
  3. Support in conducting physical inventory counts and reconciliation with system records.
  4. Ensure proper storage, labeling, and handling of goods to minimize damage or loss.
  5. Monitor stock movement and alert the Store In-Charge regarding low stock or overstock situations.
  6. Assist in preparing stock reports for management review.
  7. Supervise store staff/helpers in loading, unloading, and arranging materials.
  8. Ensure compliance with company policies, safety, and housekeeping standards within the store.
  9. Handle documentation such as GRNs, DCs, and ensure proper filing.
  10. Act as a reliever in the absence of the Store In-Charge, ensuring smooth store operations.
  11. Undertake additional tasks as instructed by the Store In-Charge or Management.

Requirements:

Education: Bachelors in Supply Chain Management / Logistics.

Experience: Minimum 2 years of relevant experience preferred.
