You'll make a difference by
- Identify opportunities, initiate and support bid preparation and submission until award
- Build strong and long-lasting relationships and grow business with our Pakistani main accounts
- Develop and grow business opportunities for Grid Simulation software (including PSSE, PSSSINCAL, Gridscale X, and related tools) for private and government customers
- Identify and respond to market trends such Renewable Integration, microgrid, BESS etc
- Prepare compelling solution proposals, including cost calculations, delivery strategies, and cross selling / up-selling of GSW products
- Gain profound understanding of specific customers, including their needs, business model, industry trends, competition and key organization initiatives
- Facilitate long-term holistic strategy for customer retention to leverage future opportunities and growth
- Engage with customers at the CxO level and their direct reports, as well as on technical and engineering levels, as a thought leader to outline how our solutions can help our clients master and accelerate the energy transition
- Acquiring new customers through analytical processing of market and customer data for sales initiatives, proactive tracking of leads, qualification of customers
- Collaborating with cross-functional teams across Business Units, Business Segments, and Global Headquarters
- Lead the sales process from opportunity development to contract negotiation and order closure
- Manage technical support for the customer in terms of the products and their integration into power supply systems, and support for pre-qualification processes at the Key and Focus Customers.
- Graduate degree in Electrical/Electronics Engineering or similar.
- 5+ years of sales experience in the space of electrical, automation and software sales/business development capacity.
- Experience and exposure to grid operator business, and as a plus to large industries and infrastructure operators.
- Understanding of energy transmission and distribution technologies, mainly in SCADA, IT/OT integration, digitalization with IoT solutions and cyber security.
- Understanding of smart grid use cases and digitalization in grid operations.
- Existing network of contacts in power utility market in Pakistan is a plus.
- Experience using PSSE, PSSSINCAL, or similar simulation tools is a plus.
- Solid understanding of transmission, distribution, and generation systems, including planning and design standards.
- Strong communication and presentation skills, with the ability to engage stakeholders on technical topics.
- Experience developing and presenting financial and operational business cases (ROI, CAPEX vs. OPEX, etc.)
- Sophisticated executive demeanor – comfortable operating with very senior clients and demonstrated ability to create long term relationships.
- Strong inspirational capabilities to persuade and take clients along into new growth fields and business that will help them master disruptive business challenges.
